Speaking during the coronation function held at the Agikuyu elders offices in Nairobi,the seasoned politician and diplomat expressed his gratitude saying he is ready to lead Kenyans and relieve them the heavy burden of taxation by the current regime.Kalonzo said he will embark on a nationwide tour to popularise his bid and a tour of the mountain to solidify his base ahead of the 2027 elections reiterating that Azimioa one Kenya alliance is intact and won't be affected by the exit of Raila Odinga should his African Union Bid succeed.
The function was attended by ukambani members of parliament including Gideon Mulyungi of Mwingi Central,Matungulu legislator Stephen Mule,Embakasi East Julius Mawathe,Kitui senator Enock Wambua among other legislators,Wiper party vice chair Ann Kanyi and Azimio fire brand Lawyer Ndegwa Njiru.
